All appointments are 1-on-1 and take place in a private room and gym.

No! Physician referrals are not required to see a Physiotherapist.
Very few extended health plans require a physician’s note for Physiotherapy in order to have it covered. If you’re note sure, get in touch with your insurance provider first.

Yes!
We can direct bill most extended health care plans on your behalf! Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment and let Dale know!
Note: There are some extended health care plans that do not offer direct billing. In these cases you are welcome to submit your receipts from us to your insurance provider for compensation.

Costs for Physiotherapy appointments at Herald Street Health depend on the type of appointment:
45-minute appointments (in-person on online) are most appropriate for Initial assessments and cost $115.
Follow-up appointments are 30-minutes in length (in-person or online) and cost $95.
60-minute appointments are also available ($145) and are most appropriate for treating multiple areas and TRE (in-person or online).
Shockwave therapy appointments are 30-minutes and cost $105.

I am currently accepting patients for ICBC-related injuries! Please bring your claim number and accident date to your first appointment so we can submit to ICBC directly.
There is no cost to the patient for appointments covered by ICBC, which helps to improve access for those injured in a car accident.

We do not have a contract with WSBC and, therefore, will not be able to help you through these injuries unless your adjuster has given you special permission to see a Physiotherapist without a WSBC contract.
